THESE ARE NOT FULL SIZED WINGS FOR A REAL PERSON. THESE ARE MINITURE SIZE AND ARE MEANT FOR DOLLS.
These are my merlin style suncatcher fairy wings for dolls! These wings throw actual rainbows and sparkle so spectacularly in the sun! They are miniature versions of the wings I made for my Titania fairy costume back in 2023. You can view that project here: https://www.maythrielfairy.com/costume-portfolio/titania-fairy
Since these are made to order, you can pick out a single color for the clear parts and choose between black and white for the veins! If you would like a very specific color, please fill out the form when you order with the color hex codes you are going for, you can view a color hex code picker on google. If you do not give me hex codes It will be up to me to determine the shade of the color you pick.
These wings will end in a “U” shape to be slip into a tight fitting doll garment or you can add ribbon yourself to tie around your doll like straps to a backpack!
The Suncatcher effect is absolutely best in direct sunlight and will only be able to cast rainbows in direct sunlight. under artificial light, the holographic effect can still be seen but it will not cast rainbows. On cloudy days or in diffused lighting, these wings will not have a rainbow effect.
DISCLAIMER: Because my wings are completely handmade and painted, wings may vary slightly in color, opaqueness, and pattern. Color may also vary depending on your device screen. (I.e. purples may appear more blue, oranges may appear more red, etc.). And because every part of my earrings are handmade, small mistakes like microbubbles will always be a part of my art.
Our wings are water proof and flexible but they are very durable. These wings are HAND colored so they will be brighter and more vivid than our competitors. We do not use any resin that may cloud when exposed to water. I will always give my best. My Wings are never mass produced, I prefer quality over quantity, Please contact me through my email if you have any questions.
